Youth court awards 2013

1.- best solo performance prize is given to Estefan Recio for a really good representation of a witness and a clear speaking

2.- Best group performance prize is for Francisco Herrera's group for a great compromise with the task, making a video to present it like evidence

3.- Again, Francisco Herrera's groupnis awarded fot the best case, including shoplifting, vandalism and underage drinking

4.- Best sentence award is for Joaquin Ruiz's group, a very original sentence: "No videogames for a month"

5.-  Best evidence award is given to Francisco Herrera's group, for presenting a very original evidence, a black/white video of a robbery

6.- Best scenery prize is given to all the groups or none of them, because all groups used the same scenery, the same things, same place etc. The only difference was how they organized their courtroom

7.- Best outfit award is given to Angelo Menchise for presenting a real Bailiff with appropriate clothes

Self-Evaluation: I think I did it Ok, but I can improve it a lot more, I mean that I forgot in some parts what i was supposed to do and say. And as a group we needed all to know well our speechs and we needed a better organization

case

Prosecutor: already at te age of 16, this boy had murdered a person. Pizza's guy, for beeing 5 minutes late. And by the way, the pizza was already free because of the 29 min promotion
Lawyer: Objection!!!
Judge: please sit down.... Prosecutor, you can continue
Pros: thanks... Well, how we know that he really did it? We have evidence... First of all, the building have cameras and its all recorded, but in low quality. Second: Peter was the only person who called for a pizza that night, and we have witnesses. Please Mr. Gordon come in front
Gordon: I saw in fact, this guy shooting the pizza´s delivery man. I heared a lot of noise and some shoots aoutside, so I went to check out what was happening.
Judge: Thank you Mr. Gordon. The defense have now 10 minutes to present their case.
After a bad speech from the defense, the sentence is decided
Judge: The guilty can choose now between a lethal injection or death by electric chair
